Terms and Conditions

By submitting an application to The Slow Business Collective Grant, you agree to the following:

1. Non-Refundable Fee
   All application fees are non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the grant review process.

2. Grant Program, Not Lottery
   This is a privately funded grant program designed to support small businesses aligned with the mission of The Slow Business Collective. Recipients are chosen based on merit, alignment with values, and the decision of the grant committee. This program is not a sweepstakes, lottery, or loan.

3. Accuracy of Information
   Applicants certify that all information submitted in their application is true and accurate to the best of their knowledge. False or misleading information may result in disqualification.

4. Taxes & Reporting
   Grant recipients are responsible for reporting the grant as taxable income in accordance with their local, state/provincial, and federal tax laws. The winner must agree to fill out a W-9 form prior to receiving grant money. The Slow Business Collective is not responsible for any tax obligations incurred by recipients.

5. Use of Content
   By applying, you grant The Slow Business Collective permission to use your business name, submitted photos, and story for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes in connection with the grant program.

6. Final Decisions
   All grant decisions are final and made at the discretion of The Slow Business Collective and its guest judges/partners.

7. Eligibility
   Applicants must reside in the United States or Canada and meet the requirements outlined in the grant application.
